My mom saw Much Ado About Nothing tonight & she loved it! Which is great cause sometimes she doesn’t like shows & she will be blunt about it, if it be the acting or blocking or set. When she was talking to one of the girls in the cast with me she said “I dont give false praise”…which is true…She then pulled me aside & said that Lanny who played benedick was super good & that she came into the theatre thinking the show wouldn’t be good but (in her words) “It was really very very good” and that she also felt that this play was the best straight play I’ve ever been in. She then told me that the musical she is doing next is “9 to 5” which will be the first time it will be preformed in tally! I love the music & its a funny enough show lol Oh, also my brother & step dad were with her. This show is the first time my step dad has ever seen me in a show ever! He felt bad about missing chicago so he said every show i do in town now he will see. Also, some fsu students came to see the show too! It was a good night
